Yumm... Brownies.

FINAL PRESENTATION

This blog gives me the opportunity to carry the message of the contribution as an individual towards our society along with the delicious and easy making brownies recipe at your edge.

In this era of fast life everybody is busy in pursuit of money, success and power. But we tend to forget our social responsibilities and give back a little to our own society.

Being a privileged child from my childhood , I really wanted to reveal some responsibilities towards our society in some noble cause. And here the day arrived with the initiative of Apeejay institute of hospitality CBD Belapur and along with the active participation of the students, it was decided to visit Swarg Dwar at Taloja and serve lunch to less privileged elderly citizens and children.

This event personally helped me to contribute toward the society as I was assigned to make the brownies for the old age and less privilege children.

And I am very much delighted in writing the blog on this recipe as the brownies were made for a noble cause and it was really enjoyable for everyone.

I'M BLESSED INDEED !

I'm blessed indeed!
Today upon the bus, I saw a lovely girl,
And I wish I were as fair.
She seemed so happy, I envied her.
And then suddenly, she rose to leave,
And I saw her hobble down the aisle,
She had one leg and wore a crutch,
Oh God, forgive me when I whine,
I have two legs, I am blessed indeed. The world is mine!

Later walking down the street,
I saw a man with blue eyes.
But he just stood and watched others play.
So, I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, Sir?"
But he look ahead without a word.
And then I knew he could not hear.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two ears, I am blessed indeed. The world is mine!

And later, I stopped to buy some sweets,
The lad who sold them had such charm,
I talked with him. If I were late, it would do no harm.
But as I turned to go, he said to me,
"I thank you, Sir, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk to folks like you
But excuse me, I am blind."
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes, I am blessed indeed. The world is mine!

With legs to take me where I want to go,
With ears to hear the things I need to know,
With eyes to watch the radiant sunset glow.
Oh god forgive me when I whine,
I am blessed indeed. the world is mine!
